Jakub Turbasa
Jakub Turbasa [1985, Krakow] – architect, assistant professor at the Chair of Architecture of Workplaces, Sports and Services at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, tailor. 2009 – graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology. He was granted a scholarship at the Architettura Civile of the Politecnico di Milano (Italy). Doctoral thesis in 2022 (Appropriate architecture. Contemporary tendencies in the architecture of developing countries, Cracow University of Technology). He worked for the firm Ingarden & Ewỳ Architekci (2008-2010). He worked as assistant teacher with Robert Konieczny (KWK PROMES) at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Art of the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University (2009-2012). Author and co-author of many projects. The founder and the head of architectural studio – Jakub Turbasa Architektura. Award and prizes winner. Significant works: The Chapel of the Last Farewell in Rychwałd (co-author Bartłomiej Pyrzyk), Townhouse under the Golden Shears in Krakow (co-author Wojciech Zagórski). The author of the book: Hidden beauty. Architecture of contemporary churches (Biblioteka “Więzi”, Warsaw 2019). Member of the IARP (Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland). Author of numerous articles on sacral architecture.
